Trading at Ingamex
Selling at Ingamex Buying at IngamexOverview
In Ingamex, members Buy and Sell "contracts". A contract is an agreement to buy or sell a certain virtual commodity. A contract has a buying price(the price buyers are willing to pay for the item) and a selling price(the price sellers are willing to sell the item).
Members can begin trading after account confirmation and funds deposit.
Please note that buyers are required to have available funds equal to or more than the selling price of the commodity they are bidding on. On the other hand, sellers can place sell contracts with a corresponding Seller Bond Rate to be collected only when the sell contract is sold to the buyer.
Please also note that sellers are limited to ten(10) open sell orders for each contract at any one time. This will ensure a fair trading process, prevent monopolies and will allow every member an opportunity to have their contracts matched.
When you want to sell a commodity
1. Login to Ingamex. Sign up if you are not yet a member.
2. Go to the Trade Screen by clicking Trade from the menu bar.
3. Select Contract Category. A list of contract categories is shown on the left portion of the trade screen. Choosing a contract category will update the Contract list on the middle of the Trade screen.
4. Select Contract. Click the Contract Name of the contract you want to trade in. The selected contract will be highlighted and contract details will be displayed.
5. Make a Sell Order. On the Contract Order form displayed on the right side of the Trade Screen, set the quantity and selling price for the commodity you are selling and press the Sell button. If you want your item to be sold faster, set your price near or equal to the existing buying prices from buyers.
6. Once your sell order is matched with a buyer, your contract is considered filled(matched) and you will be notified by email and a pop-up message if you are logged-in to Ingamex at the time.
7. Go to the My Orders table which is located on the center lower portion of the Trade Screen. Click the Filled Sell Orders tab.
8. Contact Buyer. Initiate contact with the buyer by clicking on the Chat button corresponding to the filled sell order. The Chat Window will then appear and will display the status of the other party, whether he/she is online or not. Enter your message on the Type Here section and click Submit button.
9. Process Order. Click the Process Button on your Filled Sell Orders tab corresponding to your filled sell order to be processed. The screen will then change to the Order Processing Screen.
10. Enter your Avatar name and other information on the form. This will enable the other party to know who to meet in-game online.
11. The time of the actual exchange will be selected by the buyer. The default times listed will always be the last 50 minutes of the trading period broken down into 10 minute intervals. You may also set your desired time as long as you are in contact with the buyer and he/she is agreeable to it.
12. Wait for the buyer to be ready. For Ingamex premium transactions, request priority number by clicking the priority number button on top of the screen.
13. You will then meet with the buyer in-game online for the actual in-game exchange. For Ingamex premium transactions, an Ingamex staff will contact you once both parties are ready before the exchange. The seller will hand-off the virtual item to the Ingamex staff and the staff will then give the virtual item to the buyer.
14. After the exchange, wait for the security code from the buyer.
15. Enter the security code on the form for confirmation.
16. Once the exchange is confirmed, the trade proceeds will be credited to your account.

When you want to buy a commodity
1. Login to Ingamex. Sign up if you are not yet a member.

3. Make sure you have available funds deposit equal to or more than the price of the commodity you want to trade in.
4. Select Contract Category. A list of contract categories is shown on the left portion of the trade screen. Choosing a contract category will update the Contract list on the middle of the Trade screen.
5. Select Contract. Click the Contract Name of the contract you want to trade in. The selected contract will be highlighted and contract details will be displayed.
6. Make a buy order. On the Contract Order form displayed on the right side of the Trade Screen, set the quantity and buying price for the commodity you want to buy and press the Buy button. If you want to increase your chances of getting the commodity, set your buying price equal to or higher than the existing selling prices from the sellers.
7. Once your buy contract is matched with a seller, your contract is considered filled and you will be notified by email and a pop-up message.

9. Contact Seller. Initiate contact with the seller by clicking on the Chat button corresponding to the filled buy order. The seller will hand-off the virtual item to the Ingamex staff and the staff will then give the virtual item to the buyer. Please note that should you fail to deliver the item on time, the contract fee will be forfeited in favor of Ingamex.
15. After the exchange, give your security code to the seller as confirmation.
